Audit Leverage 6.7 (SQL Server version): download files for a new installation Minimize

For our Quick Start guide for a new installation, please go to the "Installation Summary" page here.  For a detailed table of contents of our technical documentation, use the "Documentation" menu of this web site or click here.

1 - Audit Leverage 6.7 Client: 32-bit version or 64-bit version.   Required.

This zipped .exe file contains all the setup files needed to install both components of the Audit Leverage client application (or "front-end") on each user's machine, which are:

a.  AL Admin Console (a standalone .NET application used for login, security, and replication)

b.  AL audit application (stand-alone user interface in Microsoft Access)

2 - SQL Server: a free version- Optional. If you are already running an instance of SQL Server on your network, then Audit Leverage can use that instance without compromising the security of your audit data.  Microsoft offers the following three versions of SQL Server free of charge.  For purposes of running Audit Leverage, there is no disadvantage to using a paid version vs. one of these free versions:

SQL Server 2000 Desktop Edition (MSDE)

SQL Server 2005 Express Edition

SQL Server 2008 Express Edition

For further information, please see our "Choosing a version of SQL Server" page.

3 - Audit Leverage Database(s) ("back-end"):

Sample Database - Optional. This file contains a sample database for a fictional company in the hospitality industry.  You will have the chance to choose this as your starting database when you install Audit Leverage. If you don’t want the sample database, an empty datase is automatically installed (see below).

Empty Database - Optional. This file contains an empty database. We offer this option for those who either are new customers or who want to manually install the database in their SQL Server.

Your Company's Database - Optional.  If you are migrating from Audit Leverage 6.6 (our Access version), then our staff will convert your database from Access to SQL Server.  Alternatively, some of you have never used Audit Leverage 6.6 but have asked us to convert some of your audit data (such as audit program templates or a list of past audit reports issued) directly into Audit Leverage 6.7.  In either of those cases, we will complete the data import and then make the resulting database available for your secure download, after which we will delete it from our web server.
